CAC24 – Thursday, April 18, 2024 Master Classes Day

CAC24 – Sheraton Four Points on Lakeway Avenue, Bellingham, Wash. with free and easy parking. Pre-Registration Required.

Registration will be on the second floor at the Sheraton Four Points on Lakeway Avenue, Bellingham, Wash. Second Floor by elevator or staircase (also known as the Library)

Master Classes to be held in the Nooksack/Shuksan Rooms / Coffee, Tea, Water, and Beverages will be available

9:15 am –  1 pm Incorporating Mystery and Suspense Techniques Into Any Genre—Fiction or Memoir/Non-Fiction Narrative with D.D. Black
Lunch on Your Own

1 pm – 2pm

Lunch is available at the Sheraton at the B-Town Kitchen and at Chinuk. Fred Meyers has a deli bar and a Starbucks. Lakeway Teriyaki is in the same center as Fred Meyer’s hypermarket. Whole Foods is across the street from Fred Meyers. They have hot and cold buffets, pizza & beer, sandwiches and more. Saigon Cafe and Port of Subs are located by Whole Foods, and Cruising Coffee has to go bagels, sandwiches and coffee. Woods Coffee is across the street.
2 pm –       6 pm  Writing the Hollywood Adaptation with Kim Hornsby

The Sheraton’s B-Town Kitchen and Outdoor Patio with Heaters and the inviting Fireplace Lobby is where you will find Chanticleerians gathering after dinner and on breaks. Late Night Happy Hours from 9 pm – 11 pm. See you there with $10 Pub Burgers, $6 Chicken Wings, $6 Dumplings, etc.

Join us Sunday Morning at the Kaffeeklatsches and Ask the Expert Round Tables in the Fairhaven Room (aka Ballroom)

We will move out of the Sheraton by 1 p.m. on Sunday. You can find Kiffer and David at Village Books Fairhaven.

And then join us from 1 pm – 5 pm at Village Books Fairhaven for the Chanticleer Books By the Bay Book Fair.

*As always, schedule may change. We are still working out the details with Village Books for this new type of book fair on location at the VB Fairhaven location.*

To participate at the signing/tabling event, you must have a a pre-assigned area and time at the Fairhaven Village Bookstore. There are a limited number of spots.
