Paul is a co-owner of Village Books, writer, a publisher, former President of the Pacific Northwest Booksellers Association, an advocate for independent bookstores and independent publishers and authors, programmer for the Chuckanut Writers Workshops and Classes since 2012, and the head of Village Books' Publishing Division which has helped hundreds of local writers to publish their works.

For the past two years, Elana has devoted her time to traveling across the country on book tour. She has appeared at schools, libraries, and bookstores nationwide to talk about her award-winning series, The Shadow War Saga.
