Chanticleer International Book Awards (The CIBAs) is seeking for the best book series in all of its sixteen fiction divisions and seven non-fiction divisions.
Enter to WIN the CIBA Best Series Grand Prize Trophy! Three Runner-Ups will also be selected and awarded the CIBA Book Series Outstanding Selection Ribbon along with additional prizes for each division's grand prize winner!

The entry fee is $199 for Non-Members and $175 for The Roost at Chanticleer members per series entry per category.

- The Series Title and Author/Publisher will announced on our high traffic website at the finalist stage, the category winner stage, the genre grand prize stage, and the overall grand prize stage, depending on how far you go in the competition
- Corresponding social media announcements of your contest advancements

- Your winning series review published in our Chanticleer Reviews Magazine
- Your book may also be seen and noticed by agents, publishers, Hollywood producers, and others within the publishing and entertainment industry who see our contests as a way to spot new and upcoming talent and original story ideas
Series submitted will be judged on the following criteria:
- Is the overall story compelling?
- Professionalism of editing and formatting
- Characterization
- Continuity of storyline
- Satisfying ending (not necessarily “happy”)
- Intriguing opening
- Uniqueness of story
- Writing craft
- World construct
- Premise
Eligibility Requirements:
- Novels must be PUBLISHED: Self-published, Indie Published or Traditionally Published.
- E-pubs accepted.
- All published novels must have ISBN/ASIN designation.
- Unpublished Manuscripts are not accepted into the CIBA Book Series Awards.
- Entries must be in the English language.
- No erotica. No graphic violence, please.
- The first book in the series must have been published AFTER January 1, 2010
- Each book in the series must be at least 60,000 plus words. YA and Middle-Grade Works may be less but at least 40,000 words.
- We can only accept 2-5 Books in a Series at this time. No more, no less.
- You may enter in more than one category. However, each complete series entry must be accompanied by the entry fee.
- You may enter more than one series into given contest.
- Default winners will not be declared. Contests are based on merit and writing craft.
- Digital Files must be submitted in PDF or Word DOC format.
- Fees and Digital Files or complete print series must be received before November 30, 2024, midnight. We prefer digital files, but will accept printed books for the CIBA Book Series Awards. We will email you with a shipping address after receiving your online submission form.

Note: Like all Chanticleer Divisions, the Series Book Awards has more Categories than First Place Winner Positions. Generally, we aim to select 5 First Place Winners and 1 Grand Prize Winner for each Division of the CIBAs. Judges may decide more or less is appropriate.
